    this is easier than you think. call section 8 and say, i want to rent my apartment out.

    they will inspect, an put you on the list, if your property is in reasonable shape.
    what isn’t known is that you can get a land lords cert for someone eligible, but without a cert, the other thing to do is write in the contract that the tenant is to have 100% of the rent sent to you, and if they don’t continue, it is grounds for eviction. this is one of the few protections you have.

    You have to talk to State Officials Like department of welfare, section 8 housing authorities and find out exactly what you have to do. They will give you a list of exactly how the house has to be in order for it to be ok’d for section 8. dept of health also has to check the premises for certain things, there is alot of paperwirk also that you will have to fill out and file Make sure you follow everything to a t.
