What are the colleges like in Chicago/Illinois?
May 8th, 2009 | by Michael |you’re one big sugar rush asked:
I’m planning to move out there after graduation, and attend college in Chicago. I hope to major in music, with a minor in business and a minor in teaching. What are the colleges like, and how difficult are they to get into?

well some colleges that pop into mind are UChicago and U. Ilinois Urbana-Champaign
schools are pretty good there but setting is very urban; tends to get pretty chilly
UIUC isn’t that difficult to get into and their engineering is pretty good (accept about 70% applicants) but UChicago is definetely harder to enter (about 1/3 acceptance) but its pretty good for business majors
hope that helped, later

The easiest method to find out info is to contact a student. You can start looking for contact information for Illinois colleges here. The students always to know what’s going on better than outsiders since they spend so much time on campus.
