What is a good place near Chicago for a vacation rental by the beachfront with powersports rental available?

    lake geneva wisconsin…actually a pretty popular place. kinda touristy though. little over priced shops etc. but fontana or williams bay are also towns on lake geneva. i think theres a resort called “the abbey” obviously used to be a church. check it out

    You are correct about Lake Geneva. I used to live there and it is actually a nice place. West of Lake Geneva on Route 50 is another resort called Lake Lawn Lodge. You can do it there too.

    There is also the Wisconsin Dells about 4 hours out of Chicago. Just take I90 all the way there.

    You can also go straight north about 5 hours out of Chicago to Door County Wisconsin.

    There are websites for all these areas.

    Wisconsin Dells or Lake Geneva - both great places! Lake Geneva a bit more sophisticated and posh.
