I dont know which one to pick, i was thinking the sears tower, or maybe like wrigley field. but we have to have 2 or 3 good reasons why we picked the place we picked. and i cant think of anything. so if you could help me out and say which one u think is the best and why its the best itt would help me out ALOTT thank you

Chicago is all about JOBS! There are plenty of them in many many areas or fields.
If you must pick a place as your staement reads,”…pick a place for chicago that we think is the most important and its what chicago is all about.,” I would suggest a place in the center of the loop…City Hall. Everything starts or fails there.

I did mine on the University of Chicago (aka UIC). The three things I based it on were
1. the first nuclear chain reaction (was a big step to the makings of the atomic bomb)
2. first liver transplant
3. their varsity football team (during the early years, they were so good that the school took out the football team because they wanted UIC to be more “scholarly” and not have an athletic reputation
Of course, you could do other stuff like the Billy Goat Tavern. You want to do it on something that no one else’s gonna do, that’s why I chose UIC. Of course, it would be a good idea to do something that relates to the Cubs, since baseball season’s coming up. Besides that, you could do one of the sites that we did last year for those ghost stories in writing class (I don’t know if you remember that.) Hope you figure something out.

i would go with the river: the flow of the river was reversed, every year Chicago colors the river green for St. Patricks Day or you could go with Navy Pier
